Many of you have emailed me asking how you make your own chat room..

So I thought I would show you the easiest way using Paltalk, the free version allow upto 200 people in the room, plus video and voice chat as well as normal text chattting.

Lets get started making a chat room

 

Step 1.

 Download Paltalk the basic version is free and is what we will be using to build our chat room.  You can download the free version here or click on the Paltalk banner above.. 

Step 2.

In the main Paltalk panel click on Actions>>Create A Chatroom

As shown below:

Step 3.  Your web browser should open, click on Create My Group…as below

 Step 4.  Select the free version and click ok, this will give you more than enough options to start with, you can always upgrade later.

Step 5.

Next you need to fill in your chat room details:

1. Name: This will be the name of you room (Duh) clicking the check availability button…will tell you if the room name is available.
2. Description:  Describe your room, the type of chat and list rules you wish your members to stick to..
3. Catergory and Subcategory:  Select what best fits your room.
4. Language: The language used in your room
5. Rating: G for General Audience…. R for Adult Lanuage Permitted or A for Adult
6. Admin Code:  Add a code here so other people can run your room in your absense…this is great for easing the workload in a busy room…
7. Keywords:  How people find your room..

Click Save My Changes and your finished:

 

Step 6: To access your chatroom on Paltalk, in the main panel click: Favorites>>>  My room… This will open to your very own Chat Room

Thats all there is to it… have your own room in under 5 mins
